Why?
People are helpful and they are curious. They are happy to support disabled people, as long as they know how they can help and understand why certain things need to be in a particular way.
Information can be provided easily and in several forms in today’s world.
In the WHY? campaign of People First Association (the Hungarian partner in the ArtCoWorkers project) some basic facts were explained concerning the lives of people living with disabilities, because these facts are very often not obvious to the general public.
Topics will include e.g.: Why are disabled parking spaces wider than normal ones? Why and what are guide bars for blind and why do we need them? Why is a hotel room barrier free?...
